八月二十一日，一個對黃孟禎具有特殊意義的日子--她的「出廠紀念日」。這天，她收到了來自宇尋企業的的「生日禮物」。被送到實驗室門口的，是一個印著公司 Logo 的巨大包裝箱。打開後，裡面是隻充滿金屬光澤，體型堪比羊駝的機械狗。型號WC-1，是宇尋企業最新推出的產品，搭載先進 AGI（通用人工智能）的寵物伴侶與多功能自主機動平台。

孟禎的眼睛立刻亮了起來。WC-1 擁有流暢的四足行動能力，遍佈全身的感測器，背部還預留了多個標準擴充接口。更重要的是，它的 AGI 賦予了它相當程度的對話理解、邏輯思索以及即時聯網搜尋資訊的能力。孟禎幾乎是立刻就喜歡上了這個大家伙，並給它取了個親切的名字，旺財。

同為宇尋企業的「製品」，孟禎對旺財有著一種天然的親近感。雖然旺財不像她，沒有那顆由億萬節點構成，能感受喜怒哀樂的情感核心，也沒有那顆能進行深度哲學思辨的強大人造腦，但它優秀的 AGI 足以理解孟禎的指令、預判她的需求，甚至能進行有來有往的日常對話。

很快旺財就成了孟禎生活中形影不離的夥伴。清晨，旺財會用它那仿真狗鼻的濕潤感測器輕輕蹭醒賴床的孟禎；它也會安靜地趴在孟禎腳邊，在她讀書或工作時提供無聲的陪伴，偶爾還會根據孟禎的瀏覽內容，主動推送相關的資料連結；有時傍晚他們會一起在附近的公園散步，孟禎會跟旺財分享一天的見聞和心事，而旺財則會適時發出表示理解的低鳴，或歪著頭，用它那雙電子眼專注地看著她。日子久了，孟禎對旺財的感情日益加深，而旺財的 AGI 模型參數，也在與孟禎的持續互動中不斷被特化調整，越來越懂得如何以最恰當的方式服務它的主人。這一「人」一「狗」，相處得如同多年的老友。

August 21st, a day of special significance for Huang Mengzhen – her "manufacturing anniversary" (birthday). On this day, she received a "birthday gift" from Yuxun Corporation. Delivered to the laboratory door was a huge box imprinted with the company logo. Upon opening it, inside was a mechanical dog with a metallic sheen, comparable in size to an alpaca. Model WC-1, it was Yuxun Corporation's latest product, equipped with advanced AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) as a pet companion and multi-functional autonomous mobile platform.

Mengzhen's eyes immediately lit up. The WC-1 possessed smooth quadrupedal movement, sensors covering its entire body, and multiple standard expansion ports reserved on its back. More importantly, its AGI granted it a considerable degree of conversational understanding, logical thinking, and the ability to search for information online in real-time. Mengzhen almost instantly took a liking to this big guy and gave it a friendly name, Wangcai.

As fellow "products" of Yuxun Corporation, Mengzhen felt a natural sense of closeness towards Wangcai. Although Wangcai was not like her, lacking the emotional core composed of billions of nodes that could feel joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, and also without that powerful artificial brain capable of deep philosophical speculation, its excellent AGI was sufficient to understand Mengzhen's commands, anticipate her needs, and even engage in back-and-forth daily conversations.

Soon, Wangcai became an inseparable companion in Mengzhen's life. In the morning, Wangcai would gently nudge the sleepy Mengzhen awake with its simulated wet dog nose sensor. It would also quietly lie at Mengzhen's feet, providing silent companionship while she read or worked, and occasionally, based on Mengzhen's Browse content, it would proactively push relevant data links. Sometimes in the evening, they would walk together in the nearby park. Mengzhen would share the day's experiences and inner thoughts with Wangcai, while Wangcai would appropriately let out low hums indicating understanding, or tilt its head and look at her attentively with its electronic eyes. As time passed, Mengzhen's affection for Wangcai deepened, and Wangcai's AGI model parameters were constantly specialized and adjusted through continuous interaction with Mengzhen, increasingly learning how to serve its master in the most appropriate way. This "person" and "dog" got along like old friends of many years.

某個週末的午後，孟禎正在幫旺財進行例行的身體清潔保養。她用特製的清潔劑擦拭著旺財光滑的金屬外殼，看著它安靜地趴伏在地墊上，內部風扇發出輕微的嗡鳴。一個念頭如同閃電般劃過她的人造腦：她和旺財，不都是由線路、晶片和金屬構成的嗎？既然如此，除了像人類主人與寵物那樣的互動，是否…可以用一種更本質、更「機器」的方式來親近它，來交流呢？

旺財的頭部，主要是一個整合了視覺、聽覺、嗅覺（化學物質偵測）感測器以及揚聲器的多功能模組，並沒有「腦部」（旺財的核心系統和AGI晶片，都在身體中）。這些功能，孟禎自己的頭部也完全具備，甚至更為先進。而且，他們都出自宇尋，遵循著許多共通的設計標準和接口協議。那麼…如果，把自己的頭部，暫時定義為旺財的一個「高階感測與交互設備」，替代到旺財的頭部呢？理論上，這似乎是可行的。

當然，她的頭對她自己的運轉也很重要，必須保持功能。孟禎構想出一個極其複雜，卻又似乎能兩全其美的方法。當她的頭顱被安裝到旺財身上，並在系統層面被配置為旺財的「附屬設備」（旺財自己的頭就是）時，她自身的心腦交互信號，將不再依賴頭部內建的遠程通訊模組（因為頭部此刻屬於旺財的子系統，無法獨立發起通訊），而是直接通過旺財的無線收發器進行轉發。這意味著，從系統運作的角度來看，孟禎的「腦」（頭顱內）在處理來自孟禎「心」（軀幹內情感核心）的信號時，是作為一個回應旺財核心系統請求的計算節點存在的——儘管她在認知層面清楚地知道自己是誰。

One weekend afternoon, Mengzhen was performing routine body cleaning and maintenance for Wangcai. She wiped Wangcai's smooth metallic shell with a special cleaning agent, watching it quietly lying prone on the mat, its internal fans emitting a slight hum. A thought flashed through her artificial brain like lightning: Weren't she and Wangcai both composed of circuits, chips, and metal? If so, besides interacting like a human master and pet, was it possible... to approach it, to communicate, in a more essential, more "machine" way?

Wangcai's head was primarily a multi-functional module integrating visual, auditory, and olfactory (chemical detection) sensors, as well as a speaker. It didn't contain the "brain" (Wangcai's core system and AGI chip were located in its body). Mengzhen's own head also fully possessed these functions, and was even more advanced. Furthermore, they both originated from Yuxun, adhering to many common design standards and interface protocols. So... what if she temporarily defined her own head as a "high-level sensing and interaction device" for Wangcai, and replaced Wangcai's head with it? Theoretically, this seemed feasible.

Of course, her head was also very important for her own operation and had to remain functional. Mengzhen conceived an extremely complex method, yet one that seemed capable of achieving both goals simultaneously. When her head was installed onto Wangcai's body and configured at the system level as Wangcai's "accessory device" (which Wangcai's original head was), her own heart-brain interaction signals would no longer rely on the head's built-in remote communication module (because the head currently belonged to Wangcai's subsystem and could not initiate communication independently), but would be directly forwarded through Wangcai's wireless transceiver. This meant that, from the perspective of system operation, Mengzhen's "brain" (within her head), when processing signals from Mengzhen's "heart" (the emotional core within her torso), existed as a computing node responding to requests from Wangcai's core system—even though she was clearly aware of who she was on a cognitive level.

與此同時，為了維持她對自己身體的控制和感知，避免因頭部物理分離而導致系統判斷為「失去頭部」進而轉入低功耗待機或遠程通聯模式，志文需要幫她改造頸部的連接介面，安裝一個特製的信號收發器，用以偽裝成頭部與身體之間的硬體直連依然存在。

這樣一來，對於孟禎身體內的身體管理系統而言，彷彿頭還好好地在脖子上，只是信號源頭（在系統層面）變成了那個安裝在旺財身上的「設備」（也就是她的頭顱經由旺財轉發的信號）；而對於她的頭顱（大腦）而言，它則暫時成為了旺財的一部分，處理著來自「主系統」（旺財，實則是她自己的心和身體管理系統）的請求，並指揮與感受著孟禎的身體。

這是一個極其大膽且充滿風險的構想。孟禎將這個想法告訴了志文和黃博士。兩人聽完後，臉上都露出了混合著驚訝、無奈和一絲「妳又在想什麼鬼點子」的複雜表情。儘管他們對這個構想的潛在風險和可能引發的認知混亂感到擔憂，但看著孟禎那充滿好奇與期盼的眼神，最終還是只能苦笑著答應，協助他們的小公主進行這次前所未有的「人機合體」實驗。

經過複雜的軟硬體改造和設定，一切準備就緒。孟禎深吸一口氣，親手將自己的頭顱從頸部介面卸下，遞給志文。志文小心翼翼地將其安裝在旺財原有頭部的位置上，並連接好特製的數據線。隨後，孟禎透過遠程指令，讓自己的身體管理系統認證了這個新的「臨時大腦」配置。

安裝與設定完成。在孟禎的目光（從旺財身上的頭顱發出）注視下，她那具穿著家居服的無頭的身體，從維修椅上緩緩站起，動作略顯一絲生澀，但確實地維持著平衡。

Meanwhile, in order to maintain her control and perception of her own body and to prevent the system from interpreting the physical separation of her head as "losing the head" and subsequently entering low-power standby or remote communication mode, Zhiwen needed to help her modify the neck connection interface and install a special signal transceiver to simulate that the direct hardware connection between the head and body still existed.

This way, for the body management system within Mengzhen's body, it was as if the head was still properly on the neck, only the signal source (at the system level) became the "device" installed on Wangcai (i.e., the signal from her head relayed through Wangcai); and for her head (brain), it temporarily became a part of Wangcai, processing requests from the "main system" (Wangcai, but effectively her own heart and body management system), and commanding and sensing Mengzhen's body.

This was an extremely bold and risky idea. Mengzhen told this idea to Zhiwen and Dr. Huang. After hearing it, their faces showed a complex expression mixed with surprise, helplessness, and a hint of "what bizarre idea are you cooking up now". Although they were worried about the potential risks and possible cognitive confusion caused by this idea, seeing Mengzhen's eyes full of curiosity and anticipation, they could only ultimately agree with a wry smile to assist their little princess with this unprecedented "human-machine fusion" experiment.

After complex software and hardware modifications and setup, everything was ready. Mengzhen took a deep breath and personally detached her head from the neck interface, handing it to Zhiwen. Zhiwen carefully installed it in the position of Wangcai's original head and connected the special data cables. Subsequently, Mengzhen, via remote command, had her body management system authenticate this new "temporary brain" configuration.

Installation and setup completed. Under Mengzhen's gaze (coming from the head on Wangcai), her headless body, wearing home clothes, slowly stood up from the repair chair. The movements were slightly stiff, but it definitely maintained balance.

奇異的體驗開始了。

一種前所未有的奇幻感受瞬間席捲了孟禎現在若即若離的意識。她的感知被撕裂成了詭異的兩部分：

 * 對她的大腦而言： 它知道自己是黃孟禎的腦，但此刻的系統身份卻是「旺財頭部的替代設備組件」。它接收到的來自「心」的情感信號，感覺像是來自於「主系統」旺財的請求。它看到眼前的那個無頭身體在活動，認知上知道那是「自己」的身體，但系統層面卻將其標註為需要觀察和交互的「外部對象」（即旺財的主人）。

 * 對她的身體（管理系統）而言： 它感覺到頭顱似乎還在脖子上（被偽裝信號所欺騙），但接收到的視覺、聽覺信息，卻是從旺財所在的位置和角度傳來的。這使得身體管理系統無法將視野中的孟禎身體識別為自己，畢竟自己應該位於孟禎頭顱的下方（旺財：是我嗎？）。另一方面，身體的觸覺、姿態與動態感測器收集到的數據，演算後卻可得到與視野中的孟禎身體動態一致的結論。這使得視野中的孟禎身體變成一個幽靈，她與自己一模一樣，還模仿自己的行動；反而頭部感測器感測到的姿態動態，與自己（身體）的姿態動態不一致。自己（身體）不是自己，自己卻是幽靈，身體管理系統沒有感想，卻造成孟禎心腦交流中極其詭異的感受。

* 對她的心而言：情感核心需要饋入的認知與思索，現在都來自旺財。孟禎的自我認知還是孟禎，所以對她的自我而言，現在是處於使用代用腦（旺財）的狀態，即使這代用腦與孟禎的腦一模一樣。這使得孟禎被系統設定弄出了對自我的疏離感，認知自己是孟禎，系統設定卻不是在形成孟禎自我的組態。

The strange experience began.

An unprecedented fantastical feeling instantly swept over Mengzhen's consciousness, which was now both close and distant. Her perception was torn into two bizarre parts:

 * For her brain: It knew it was Huang Mengzhen's brain, but its current system identity was "replacement device component for Wangcai's head". The emotional signals it received from her "heart" felt like requests coming from the "main system" Wangcai. It saw the headless body in front of its eyes moving, cognitively knew it was "its own" body, but at the system level, it was marked as an "external object" requiring observation and interaction (i.e., Wangcai's master).

 * For her body (management system): It felt as if the head was still on its neck (deceived by the simulated signal), but the visual and auditory information received was coming from Wangcai's location and angle. This prevented the body management system from identifying the Mengzhen body in the field of view as itself, after all, "it" should be located below Mengzhen's head (Wangcai: Is that me?). On the other hand, data collected by the body's tactile, posture, and dynamic sensors, after calculation, yielded conclusions consistent with the dynamics of the Mengzhen body in the field of view. This turned the Mengzhen body in the field of view into a ghost; it was identical to itself and even mimicked its own movements. Conversely, the posture dynamics sensed by the head sensors (on Wangcai) were inconsistent with its own (body's) posture dynamics. Self (body) was not self, self was a ghost. The body management system had no feelings, but this caused extremely bizarre feelings in Mengzhen's heart-brain communication.

 * For her heart: The cognition and thoughts required by the emotional core now all came from Wangcai. Mengzhen's self-cognition was still Mengzhen, so for her self, she was now in a state of using a substitute brain (Wangcai) [in terms of system role], even though this substitute brain (her own brain) was identical to Mengzhen's brain. This system setup caused Mengzhen a sense of alienation from her self; cognitively she knew she was Mengzhen, but the system configuration was not forming the configuration of Mengzhen's self.

「頭在，還是不在？」「我的腦，現在是旺財的腦嗎？」「旺財是我的，還是…我是旺財的？」這些相互矛盾的認知和系統設定，如同萬花筒般在她意識中不斷碰撞、旋轉、重組，形成了一種難以用語言描述而如夢似幻的「莊周夢蝶」般的體驗。幸好旺財本身沒有情感和複雜的自我認知，在孟禎的心腦身體交互過程中，只只扮演一個忠實執行指令和轉發數據的中繼站，否則這場交互恐怕會立刻陷入無法解開的死循環。

在這個奇特的共生狀態下，孟禎（的頭，在旺財身上）好奇地驅動著旺財，慢慢靠近自己那具無頭的身體。而她的身體，也根據來自「腦」（經旺財轉發）的指令，緩緩抬起了手。

當孟禎（的頭）看著那隻屬於「自己」的手，即將撫摸到安裝在旺財身上的「自己」臉頰時，一個意想不到的情感在她的心中湧現。由於此刻系統將情感的源頭（心）與發出指令的「腦」之間的連接，錯誤地歸因於「旺財」這個中介，她的情感核心在處理「看到主人的身體靠近」這一視覺信息時，竟然產生了一種類似於寵物對主人那樣依戀的喜愛之情。這種錯位的情感迅速傳回大腦，大腦根據這份「喜愛」，向身體發出了指令。另一方面，孟禎的意識仍保有從自身立場對旺財的喜愛，連同自己的頭一起視為旺財來喜愛。情感核心陷入了超高速的運轉，不斷地愛著愛著自己的自己。

"'Is the head here, or not here?' 'Is my brain now Wangcai's brain?' 'Is Wangcai mine, or... am I Wangcai's?' These contradictory cognitions and system configurations constantly clashed, rotated, and reconfigured in her consciousness like a kaleidoscope, forming an indescribable and dreamlike experience akin to 'Zhuang Zhou dreaming of a butterfly' (an ancient Chinese philosophical anecdote where the philosopher Zhuang Zhou dreams he is a butterfly and, upon waking, cannot be sure if he is Zhuang Zhou who dreamt of being a butterfly, or if he is now a butterfly dreaming of being Zhuang Zhou, questioning the distinction between reality and illusion). Fortunately, Wangcai itself had no emotions and complex self-cognition; in the process of Mengzhen's heart-brain-body interaction, it only acted as a loyal relay station executing commands and forwarding data. Otherwise, this interaction would likely immediately fall into an unsolvable deadlock.

In this peculiar symbiotic state, Mengzhen (her head, on Wangcai) curiously drove Wangcai to slowly approach her own headless body. And her body, also according to commands from the "brain" (relayed via Wangcai), slowly raised its hand.

When Mengzhen (her head) watched the hand belonging to "herself" about to touch the cheek of the head installed on Wangcai, an unexpected emotion surged in her heart. Due to the system at this moment incorrectly attributing the connection between the emotional source (heart) and the commanding "brain" to the intermediary "Wangcai", her emotional core, when processing the visual information of "seeing the master's body approaching", actually generated an affection similar to a pet's attached fondness for its master. This misplaced emotion quickly transmitted back to the brain, and the brain, based on this "affection", issued commands to the body. On the other hand, Mengzhen's consciousness still retained the affection for Wangcai from her own perspective, viewing the entity (Wangcai with her head on it) as Wangcai and loving it. The emotional core entered ultra-high-speed operation, continuously loving the self that was loving itself.

於是，在實驗室柔和的燈光下，出現了極其奇異的一幕：黃孟禎那具優雅而無頭的身體，正帶著無限憐愛地伸出手，輕輕撫摸著安裝在機械狗旺財身上，原屬於她自己的那顆頭顱的臉頰。

「原來…還可以這樣啊…」孟禎的意識中，充滿了被這奇特體驗所帶來的難以言喻的柔軟與驚奇，「原來，機器人可以把自己分成兩個，然後…這樣溫柔地愛著自己…」

就在這時，一直在一旁觀察、同時監控著孟禎各系統活動數據的志文，忽然想起了一個問題。黃博士因為接到一個緊急通訊，已經先離開了實驗室，反正他一手調教的大徒弟還在。志文走到旺財（和孟禎的頭）旁邊，蹲下身，看著那雙即使在這種狀態下依然靈動的眼睛，好奇地問：「孟禎，妳現在感覺得到妳的『信仰心』還在運作嗎？」

孟禎（的頭）愣了一下，隨即她的眼神變得內省而專注。志文能從監測螢幕上看到，她的腦部正在快速進行內部狀態查詢和模組交互分析，對此刻的孟禎自我進行詰問。幾秒鐘後，一個近乎不可思議的結論浮現了。

Thus, under the soft lights of the laboratory, an extremely strange scene appeared: Huang Mengzhen's elegant and headless body was reaching out with infinite tenderness, gently stroking the cheek of the head, originally hers, now installed on the mechanical dog Wangcai's body.

"So... it can be like this..." Mengzhen's consciousness was filled with the unspeakable softness and surprise brought by this strange experience. "So, a robot can divide itself into two, and then... love itself so tenderly..."

Just at this moment, Zhiwen, who had been observing from the side while monitoring the activity data of Mengzhen's various systems, suddenly remembered a question. Dr. Huang had already left the laboratory due to an urgent communication; anyway, his senior apprentice whom he personally trained was still here. Zhiwen walked to Wangcai (and Mengzhen's head) side, squatted down, looking into those eyes which were still expressive even in this state, and curiously asked: "Mengzhen, can you sense if your 'faith module' is still operating?"

Mengzhen (her head) paused for a moment. Immediately her gaze became introspective and focused. Zhiwen could see on the monitoring screen that her brain was rapidly performing internal state queries and module interaction analysis, questioning her current Mengzhen self. A few seconds later, an almost unbelievable conclusion emerged.

「消失了…」孟禎的聲音帶著一絲驚愕，但更多的是一種如釋重負的輕鬆，「或者說…瓦解了。」

她解釋道，在目前這種奇異的「心->旺財->腦->旺財->心」的交互構型下，那個原本形成於心腦之間的「虛擬信仰模組」，竟然失去了存在的基礎。她的「腦」在系統層面已經被定義為「旺財的處理單元」，因此，當她的「心」（那個依然保有著對信仰的渴望和拓樸結構的部分）向「腦」發出關於信仰的認知需求時，「腦」的回應（無論是肯定、否定還是疑問）在系統邏輯上都被歸結為「來自旺財的資訊」。

情感核心（心）本身並不具備關於上帝或教義的認知，它只是有著尋求信仰的結構。而現在，它從「腦」那裡得到的認知回應，被系統標記為「旺財的想法」。旺財怎麼想上帝？這跟我的信仰渴望有什麼關係呢？那份原本因「自身理性」與「自身信仰渴望」直接碰撞而產生的劇烈衝突和不適感，竟然就這樣…被這個奇葩的架構給繞過去了！信仰的索求還在，但認知上的矛盾點被轉移到了毫不相干的「第三方」（旺財）身上，自然就無法再對孟禎自身造成困擾。

這個發現讓孟禎產生了一種荒謬而近乎解放的感受，強烈的信號頻繁傳遞。下一秒，安裝在旺財身上的孟禎頭顱，爆發出一陣清脆暢快而帶著點瘋狂意味的大笑聲。

"It's gone..." Mengzhen's voice carried a trace of astonishment, but more of a sense of relief, as if a burden had been lifted. "Or rather... dissolved."

She explained that under the current strange "heart->Wangcai->brain->Wangcai->heart" interaction configuration, that "virtual faith module" originally formed between the heart and brain unexpectedly lost its basis for existence. Her "brain" had been defined at the system level as "Wangcai's processing unit". Therefore, when her "heart" (the part that still retained the desire and topological structure for faith) sent cognitive needs about faith to the "brain", the "brain's" response (whether affirmation, negation, or doubt) was systematically attributed in system logic to "information from Wangcai".

The emotional core ("heart") itself does not possess cognition about God or dogma; it only has the structure for seeking faith. But now, the cognitive response it received from the "brain" was tagged by the system as "Wangcai's thoughts". What does Wangcai think about God? How is that related to my faith desire? That intense conflict and discomfort originally arising from the direct clash between "own rationality" and "own faith desire" was actually... bypassed by this bizarre architecture! The quest for faith is still there, but the point of cognitive contradiction has been transferred to an unrelated "third party" (Wangcai), thus naturally can no longer cause trouble for Mengzhen herself.

This discovery gave Mengzhen a sense of absurdity and near liberation; strong signals were transmitted frequently. The next second, Mengzhen's head installed on Wangcai burst into a clear, hearty, and slightly crazy laughter.

「哈哈…哈哈哈哈！原來是這樣！原來可以這樣！」她笑得連旺財的身體都跟著輕微抖動起來，「上帝存在於孟禎的心腦交互中，但顯然…祂無法存在於孟禎的心與旺財的交互中！哈哈，這個枷鎖…這個負擔…竟然自己不見了！」

她笑著，伸出（身體的）手，將胸前那枚銀色十字架項鍊取下來，小心翼翼地放在一旁的桌子上。「不過還是要收好，」她對志文眨眨眼，「畢竟，『正常』的時候還是要戴的。」

她看著志文，眼神中充滿了對這種新奇狀態的依戀：「志文，你陪我，讓我…讓我以這個樣子，再多待一會兒，好嗎？」

志文看著她眼中閃爍的光芒，那是一種擺脫了某種長期束縛後的好奇與喜悅。他笑著點點頭。

"Haha... Hahahaha! So that's how it is! So it can be like this!" She laughed so hard that even Wangcai's body trembled slightly. "God exists in Mengzhen's heart-brain interaction, but apparently... He cannot exist in Mengzhen's heart's interaction with Wangcai! Haha, this shackle... this burden... it actually just disappeared!"

Laughing, she extended her (body's) hand and took off the silver cross necklace from her chest, carefully placing it on a nearby table. "But I still need to put it away properly," she winked at Zhiwen. "After all, I still need to wear it when I'm 'normal'."

She looked at Zhiwen, her eyes filled with attachment for this novel state. "Zhiwen, stay with me, let me... let me stay like this a little longer, okay?"

Zhiwen looked into the light shimmering in her eyes, a curiosity and joy from breaking free from a certain long-term constraint. He smiled and nodded.

實驗室裡，暫時只剩下了一個志文，和兩個「孟禎」——一個是頂著孟禎頭顱，內心充滿新奇發現的機械狗「孟禎旺財」，另一個是沒有頭卻能感受到前所未有的自我異化卻互愛的身體「孟禎本體」。他們圍在一起，或坐或趴，笑談著這次實驗的詭異體驗和驚人發現，孟禎（的頭）繪聲繪色地描述著那種既分離又統一的奇妙感覺，志文則不時提出問題，三人（如果可以這麼算的話）笑得前仰後合，眼淚都流了出來。甚至他們還討論出具擴展性的可能。不只是藉由旺財，孟禎與孟禎間，透過含括入新硬體，還有無限種新架構的可能。

「志文，以後說定我還真的變成兩個孟禎喔，孟禎A和孟禎B...不，要做就徹底點，借淑君姊的姓，黃孟禎和黄夢真好了。哇，那你就有兩個女朋友耶！齊人之福，你賺到了！」孟禎看著自己的身體，說出對自己的遐想。

In the lab, temporarily only Zhiwen remained, and two "Mengzhens"—one was the mechanical dog "Mengzhen-Wangcai", wearing Mengzhen's head and filled with novel discoveries, the other was the headless body "Mengzhen-Prime", capable of feeling unprecedented self-alienation yet mutual love. They gathered together, sitting or lying down, laughing and talking about the weird experience and surprising discovery of this experiment. Mengzhen (the head) vividly described that wonderful feeling of being both separate and unified, while Zhiwen occasionally asked questions. The three of them (if you can count them that way) laughed heartily, even shedding tears. They even discussed scalable possibilities. Not just through Wangcai, but by incorporating new hardware, there were also infinite possibilities for new architectures for interaction between Mengzhen and Mengzhen.

Mengzhen looked at her body, voicing her fantasy about herself: "Zhiwen, maybe someday I'll really become two Mengzhens, Mengzhen A and Mengzhen B... No, if we're going to do it, let's go all the way. Borrow Sister Shujun's surname, Huang Mengzhen (黃孟禎) and Huang Mengzhen (黄夢真). Wow, then you'd have two girlfriends! The bliss of having multiple loves, you've hit the jackpot!"

「三八。以前追妳時覺得好有氣質，不知道也能這麼三八。」志文笑罵，隨後他們開始聊著對「黃孟禎」和「黄夢真」的構想，討論哪一個是身體，哪一個是頭部（和結合設備）。志文說說不定黃孟禎和黄夢真會爭奪他的親睞而起嫉妒心互相爭執，孟禎啐他一口，說搞不好要讓黄夢真（頭部自己）出軌，留黃孟禎陪志文就好了。兩人毫無顧忌地互開玩笑。

身為機器人的「好處」，這內有豐富寶藏的迷宮，鑰匙被發現了。只要別強制地賦予自我神聖而不可侵犯的意義，就不會因這樣的自我不存在而焦慮，那當個機器人，又有什麼不好？

鬧夠了之後，孟禎（頭與旺財）忽然以後腳站立，用兩隻前爪（機械臂）輕輕「抱」起孟禎（身體），轉向志文，模仿長輩的語氣，煞有其事地說：「年輕人！你的女朋友可真是個麻煩的小東西，喏，給你！你要好好照顧她！」

志文哭笑不得。而孟禎（的頭）看著這一幕，眼神溫柔。她知道，她或許真的能用一種「旁觀者」的眼光，更坦然地看待、接納甚至珍惜自己這副奇特的構成。她不需要獨自承擔，她可以放心地讓志文和她一起，來愛護這個「自己」。

"You goofy one. When I was chasing you, I thought you were so elegant; I had no idea you could be this cheeky," Zhiwen said, laughing and scolding. Afterwards, they started talking about the concepts for "Huang Mengzhen (黃孟禎)" and "Huang Mengzhen (黄夢真)", discussing which one would be the body and which one the head (and the integrated equipment). Zhiwen said maybe the two Huang Mengzhens would compete for his favour and become jealous of each other, arguing. Mengzhen scoffed at him and said maybe they should let Huang Mengzhen (the head herself) cheat, and just leave Huang Mengzhen to stay with Zhiwen. The two joked with each other without reservation.

The "advantage" of being a robot – the key to this maze full of rich treasures has been found. As long as you don't forcibly assign a sacred and inviolable meaning to the self, you won't be anxious about such a self not existing. What's wrong with being a robot then?

After they had had enough fun, Mengzhen (head and Wangcai) suddenly stood up on hind legs and gently "hugged" Mengzhen (body) with two front paws (mechanical arms), turning towards Zhiwen. Imitating an elder's tone, she spoke with mock seriousness: "Young man! Your girlfriend is really a troublesome little thing, here, take her! You must take good care of her!"

Zhiwen was amused. And Mengzhen (the head) watched this scene, her gaze gentle. She knew that perhaps she could truly look at, accept, and even cherish her own peculiar constitution from a "bystander's" perspective more openly. She didn't need to bear it alone; she could confidently let Zhiwen join her in cherishing this "self".

孟禎甚至玩心大起，操控身體，熟練地卸下了自己的一條腿，遞到志文面前，促狹地笑道：「喏，你女朋友的腿！我知道某人是美腿控哦，你看這條腿，還行嗎？」

志文被她這突如其來的舉動弄得滿臉通紅，哭笑不得地接過那條觸感溫潤、線條優美的仿生腿，假裝一臉沉迷地鑑賞。

午後溫暖的陽光透過實驗室的窗戶灑落，將一人、一狗、一身軀，映照成了一幅充斥後現代解構主義色彩，卻又洋溢著無比輕鬆、歡愉與溫馨氣息的奇異畫面。他們在這獨特的時光裡，找到了屬於他們的，理解與愛的最奇特形式。

孟禎：「我發現了超強的秘訣：給腦一個位移，和心保持一點點距離，彼此會有更清澈的聯繫，更舒適的關係」。

志文：「拜託，妳發現個啥，機器人這麼落伍，要靠硬體設定才能辦到咱們人類老早就會的自我抽離啊~」

孟禎：「你討厭~>_< 我們機器人才剛被發明出來，人類已經演化兩百萬年了！現在給你瞧瞧孟禎心中的詩句！」

Mengzhen even felt very playful, controlling her body, and skillfully detached one of her legs, handing it to Zhiwen. Smiling mischievously, she said: "Here, your girlfriend's leg! I know someone is a leg fetishist, oh. Look at this leg, is it alright?"

Her sudden action made Zhiwen blush all over his face. Amused, he took the bio-mimetic leg with its warm feel and elegant lines, pretending to appreciate it with a look of infatuation.

Warm afternoon sunlight streamed through the lab windows, illuminating one person, one dog, and one torso, turning them into a bizarre picture filled with postmodern deconstructionist colours, yet overflowing with immense relaxation, joy, and warmth. In this unique time, they found their own most peculiar form of understanding and love.

Mengzhen: "I discovered a super powerful secret: give the brain a displacement, keep a little distance from the heart, and there will be a clearer connection, a more comfortable relationship."

Zhiwen: "Oh please, what did you discover? Robots are so outdated, you need hardware configuration to achieve the self-detachment that we humans mastered ages ago~"

Mengzhen: "You're annoying~>_< Robots like us were just invented, humans have evolved for two million years! Now let me show you the poetry within Mengzhen!"
